Cops: Man Assaulted Boy With TV Remote In Dispute Over Watching Cartoons Or Wrestling

A dispute Saturday night over whether to watch cartoons or wrestling ended with a Louisiana man throwing the TV remote at the head of an eight-year-old boy, who ended up with a black eye when the device struck him, according to police.

As a result, Ronald Adams, 49, was arrested for cruelty to a juvenile, according to a probable cause affidavit prepared by the Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Office. It is unclear what the relationship is between Adams and the boy, whose father reported the incident to authorities.

The boy told a sheriff’s deputy that Adams “wanted to watch ‘wrestling’ and that he wanted to watch ‘cartoons’ when the altercation occurred at the residence” in West Monroe. The child added that Adams “threw the television remote at him and hit him in the left eye causing it to turn black.”

When questioned by Deputy Mark Graves, Adams, pictured in the above mug shot, claimed the boy had gotten the black eye from “jumping off the pool ladder” earlier that day. Graves noted, however, that the pool “had very little water in it.”

Adams, currently being held in the county jail on the felony rap, has yet to appear in court, where bond is likely to be set.

Apology accepted.
Who are these people? Jackoff probably didn't want to be confused by the complicated plots of cartoons again.
