Andy Dick In Pot Bust

MAY 11--How C-list a star is Andy Dick? Well, the comedian was arrested for pot possession earlier this month--and nobody noticed except TSG. The 38-year-old comedian was popped May 2 while attending the Coachella music festival in Indio, California. According to cops, Dick was in a VIP area near one stage when a security guard spotted him trying to fire up a joint with a Bic lighter. The rent-a-cop detained Dick and discovered the performer's marijuana stash, which was in a baggie and weighed less than an ounce. Dick was then transported to an area manned by Indio Police Department officers and cited for misdemeanor pot possession, according to Officer Benjamin Guitron. Dick, one of 29 people busted on the closing night of the two-day Coachella festival, was relieved of his VIP wristband and asked to leave the concert grounds. He is scheduled to appear in Riverside County Superior Court on June 16. Three days after the arrest, MTV announced that Dick will be starring this summer in "The Assistant," an eight-episode takeoff on the NBC hit "The Apprentice." (1 page)
