Chuck Finley Strikes Back
After Tawny Kitaen was arrested by Newport Beach, California cops on April 1 for allegedly assaulting her husband, Cleveland Indians pitcher Chuck Finley, a split wasn't that hard to predict.
On April 4, Finley filed a divorce petition--and sought a temporary restraining order against Kitaen--in Orange County Superior Court.
Finley's portrait of his marriage is an ugly one: in the below court declaration, he claims his wife is a suicidal drug abuser who is so strung-out that he fears for the safety of their two children. To buttress his argument, Finley's attorney filed a declaration from the couple's nanny, who says that she is often asked by one of the kids, "Is mommy whacked out again today?"
Finley also filed this detailed list of drugs he contends were prescribed to--and abused by--Kitaen. (8 pages)
Tawny: Chuck is a boozer, a pot smoker, and a steroid user.
