The Oklahoma City bomber just filed this notice in federal court in Denver disclosing his intent to drop appellate actions, while requesting that an execution date be set. McVeigh, convicted of killing 168 people in the April 1995 bombing of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building, stated that he is "fully competent to make this decision."
