Fuzz Nail Speeding Letterman (Again)

We wish the cops would just give poor David Letterman a break. The entertainer, who often jokes about his frequent speeding tickets, has been popped again, this time in tiny Darby, Montana (pop. 800) on May 24. We have no idea what the TV star was doing in those parts, but we do know that a zealous local flatfoot clocked Dave going 38 mph in a 25 mph zone. While that hardly connotes "speeding" in The Smoking Gun's book, Letterman was passing through a school zone at the time (though it was a Saturday). He paid the $50 fine and slowly rode out of town.
