McCartney Nails Mills
Sir Paul had one nice thing to say about ex-wife in divorce case
MARCH 18--The legal judgment made public today in the Paul McCartney-Heather Mills divorce case is an entertaining 58-page read, overflowing with the minute financial and personal details of the couple's acrimonious split.
While you can download a PDF of the entire document here, we have excerpted our favorite section here, which recounts Mills's contention of how she 'counselled' a grieving McCartney following his wife Linda's death, helped him write songs, and gave him confidence to resume touring. While McCartney countered by saying that none of this was true, the ex-Beatle did concede that Mills came up with one 'brilliant idea' for which she deserved 'full credit.'
Of course, as you'll see, it was the single most inconsequential matter addressed in the London High Court of Justice judgment authored by The Honourable Mr Justice Bennett. (2 pages)
