JANUARY 8--A female high school teacher. Her 16-year-old male student. A locked classroom with the lights off. You probably know how this ends. English teacher Shannon Kay Hrozek, pictured in this mug shot, was charged yesterday with the felony sexual assault of a Texas boy at Westfield High School.
According to a criminal complaint, Hrozek, 42, was caught in the act by an assistant principal who was tipped off by a school janitor that a teacher and student were "in Room 143 with the lights off."
Hrozek, released from custody on $50,000 bail, is due in court tomorrow on the felony charge. (2 pages)
