Police Hunt Bald Guy In Rogaine Theft Spree
Chrome-domed perp sought in pharmacy heists
FEBRUARY 25--Ohio police are hunting for a bald suspect in connection with a series of Rogaine thefts.
According to cops, the middle-aged thief has boosted the popular hair loss treatment in repeated thefts at pharmacies, including a Walgreens in Mt. Healthy, a city 15 miles from Cincinnati.
During the $847 Mt. Healthy heist, the suspect also stole Prevagen, a “brain health supplement.”
Police in neighboring Florence, Kentucky report that the suspect has stolen Rogaine from a CVS pharmacy and two Walgreens outlets in the city. Cops estimate that he is “believed to be responsible for several thousand dollars worth of stolen merchandise.”
In a bid to identify the Rogaine thief, police have released store surveillance images showing the suspect inside the Walgreens. The man removed the Rogaine from its packaging before leaving the pharmacy.
Investigators, who believe the suspect drives a white Jeep Cherokee, have asked members of the public who might recognize the chrome-domed perp to contact the Mt. Healthy police or the local Crime Stoppers group. (4 pages)
