Dontee Stokes Police Report
This is the 1993 police report filed by Dontee Stokes alleging that Rev. Maurice Blackwell had touched and fondled him while the teen was attending Bible study class at St. Edward's Church. Cops investigated Stokes's complaint and forwarded results to prosecutors, who did not file charges against the priest. Stokes has confessed to the May 13 shooting of Blackwell, telling cops that he fired three shots--from a .357 Smith & Wesson--at the priest from the passenger window of his automobile.
