Boyz II Men '11

Boyz II Men

Now back touring, Boyz II Men thrill 72 concertgoers nightly during the R&B group’s performance of “I’ll Make Love to You.” That’s when the three Boyz each hand out 24 long-stemmed red roses to swooning--and presumably female--fans.

To guarantee that concert promoters are familiar with the exotic long-stemmed rose, the group helpfully includes a photo of a sample rose, which needs to have “NO thorns and NO leafs,” according to the backstage rider for the band, which banks $35,000 per gig.

The Boyz II Men rider also details the trio’s catering requirements, which include a prohibition against pork, shellfish, beef, and “FISH WITH WHISKERS.” Salmon steaks and “BBQ Chicken wings,” however, are allowed backstage. (2 pages)
