Behind The Counter At Tom's Restaurant
Once "Seinfeld" goes off the air this week, Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer will never again enjoy a tuna sandwich at Monk's Cafe or slurp crab bisque from the infamous Soup Nazi (except, of course, in reruns).
And after taking a look at these documents, neither will we.
According to the most recent inspection reports prepared by the New York City Department of Health, Tom's Restaurant and Soup Kitchen International--the real-life Manhattan prototypes for the sitcom's favorite dining spots--are saddled with mice droppings, roaches, and other public health hazards. No soup for you? Sounds good to us--we're sticking with the canned Beef-A-Reeno.
