Turns out rookie restaurateur Britney Spears has more to worry about than just her dented cans. Three suppliers to the singer's New York restaurant, Nyla, are seeking to force Britney's five-month-old eatery into bankruptcy, citing unpaid bills in excess of $25,000. The below involuntary bankruptcy petition was filed last month by firms that have provided Spears's Gotham joint (incorporated under the name Pinky Enterprises) with dairy products, lobster, and dinnerware. Spears and her business partners have yet to respond to the Chapter 7 petition filed October 18 in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in lower Manhattan. If a debtor owes more than 12 creditors, an involuntary bankruptcy case may be commenced when three creditors (who are together owed $10,000 or more) sign a petition. (5 pages)
