The two America West pilots busted for allegedly trying to fly while drunk rang up a $122 bar bill just hours before their July 1 arrest, according to this credit card receipt released yesterday (7/22) by Miami prosecutors. With the help of some friends, Thomas Cloyd, 44, and Christopher Hughes, 41, downed nearly three gallons of Sierra Nevada beer, a Ketel One martini, and a "happy hour draft" before paying the tab at 4:22 AM--just six hours before the pilots were yanked from the cockpit of a jet bound for Phoenix with 124 passengers aboard. According to cops, both Cloyd and Hughes had blood alcohol levels that were twice Florida's legal limit. (1 pages)
