AUGUST 4--The ex-lover of Mary Kay Letourneau, the Washington grade-school teacher who spent seven years in prison for having sex with the then underage boy, today asked a Seattle judge to vacate an order that bars Letourneau from contacting him. Vili Fualaau, 21, filed the below motion in King County Superior Court, hours after Letourneau walked out of the Washington Corrections Center for Women. As a condition of her release, Letourneau, 42, is barred from contacting Fualaau. The court motion argues that Fualaau, who fathered two of Letourneau's six children, "does not fear" his former teacher and, now that he is of age, should be allowed to associate "with other adults of his own choosing, specifically Mary K. Letourneau." (3 pages)
