MAY 3--A Maryland woman was arrested yesterday for allegedly continuing to stalk Sean Hannity, the Fox News star who told cops that he has been in fear of physical injury and even death due to the woman's year-long campaign of terror.
Miriam Burstein, 51, was nabbed Monday as she arrived at a Manhattan court to answer a previous misdemeanor charge of harassing Hannity.
According to a Criminal Court felony complaint, Burstein continued to stalk Hannity after her initial arrest and, as a result, was charged with contempt of court for violating a temporary order of protection issued in March.
Investigators allege that, in violation of that court order, Burstein recently mailed packages to Hannity's Fox News office containing letters and assorted documents. One letter, which Burstein allegedly signed, announced, "LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO ME." The complaint does not explain (if that's even possible) what Burstein thinks Hannity has done. (4 pages)
