No Happy Ending For Threesome Participants
"Sexual fantasy" leads to bloody brawl, arrest
APRIL 10--A threesome did not have a happy ending early yesterday when the two male participants got into a bloody fight that landed one of them in a South Carolina jail on multiple criminal charges, court records show.
According to a sheriff’s report, Michael Charles and Michelle Fleming, both 47, share a residence in Duncan, a town in Spartanburg County. Charles told cops he and Fleming are “roommates with benefits,” a characterization that Fleming did not dispute.
Charles said that he invited Brian Alden, 40, to the home to “hang out and possibly have a threesome with him and Fleming.” Fleming told investigators that Charles “had invited Alden over to fulfill a sexual fantasy.”
During a 2:45 AM interview with sheriff’s deputies, Charles said that after the trio had sex, “things began to feel odd with Alden,” so he asked his guest to leave. Alden departed the home, but subsequently demanded to be let back in. Fleming, he said, told him to allow Alden to return to the residence.
“The three then attempted intercourse again,” the report notes, but due to “an inability to perform on Alden’s part, Charles then told him to just go home.”
What followed, investigators allege, were a series of physical confrontations between Charles and Alden, both inside the home and in the backyard. When cops arrived at the property, they found Charles with a head laceration, a bloodied nose, and an eye swollen shut.
Alden had a head wound that required 12 stitches. Charles said he struck Alden in the head with a stone while being pummeled on the rear deck.
Alden, who declined to answer police questions, “kept exclaiming he was the victim as he was hit in the head with a hard object.” While being treated at the hospital, deputies reported, Alden “continued to complain of pain in both hands and wrists which is consistent with pain caused from repeated punching of an object.”
Pictured in the above mug shot, the 6’ 5”, 290-pound Alden was arrested on several counts, including assault and battery and trespass. He was released from the county lockup early yesterday evening on a personal recognizance bond. Alden, who lives in Duncan, was arrested in February for indecent exposure and has been free on $1500 bond in that misdemeanor case. (2 pages)
