Accused Dealer Arrested In Perfect T-Shirt
Arkansan charged following search of his home
DECEMBER 1--An accused methamphetamine dealer with a lengthy rap sheet was wearing a t-shirt that declared “Who Needs Drugs?” when Arkansas police arrested him on multiple felony charges.
Acting on information that Timothy Williams, 31, was “providing and selling narcotics” to customers, investigators with the Union County Sheriff’s Office raided Williams’s home in late-September.
Williams, already on probation, was taken into custody as agents raided the residence in El Dorado, a city about 15 miles north of the Arkansas/Louisiana state line.
According to court records, the search of Williams’s home yielded methamphetamine, synthetic marijuana, digital scales, packaging material, and two used syringes.
Williams was arrested on several felony narcotics charges. Since he is classified as a habitual criminal due to multiple prior felony convictions, Williams could face decades in state prison if convicted on the new counts.
As seen in the above booking photo, when Williams was arrested he was wearing a t-shirt that parodied the classic D.A.R.E. logo. Underneath the words “Who Needs Drugs?” was the kicker, “No Seriously, I Have Drugs.”
Williams is being held in the Union County jail in lieu of $50,000 bond. (3 pages)
