Moussaoui Questions Judge's Mental State

Just when TSG thought so-called 20th hijacker Zacarias Moussaoui's federal court motions couldn't get any kookier, he files this beaut--complete with a winking reference to Osama bin Laden--which was unsealed yesterday (7/15) by U.S. District Court Judge Leonie Brinkema. "Do you think that I am crazy to see your Doctor Frankeinstein," Moussaoui asks in an apparent reference to Brinkema's recent announcement that she would further consider the question of his competency. On page two of the motion, after Moussaoui writes, "Leonie Brinkema Your Mentally Sick," the alleged terrorist provides his bizarre analysis of the judge's own mental status. Aping language from standard psych reports, Moussaoui details the results of his purported "mental status examination" of Brinkema: "Axis 1: Acute symptom of Islamophobia with complex gender inferiority." In his "conclusion and recommendations," Moussaoui suggests "immediate psychiatric hospitalization" in the "UBL Treatment Center." While federal prosecutors refer to bin Laden with that acronym, Moussaoui points out, "of course UBL stand for unique best location." (2 pages)
