"20th Hijacker" Has Internet Connection Trouble

MARCH 6--Zacarias Moussaoui, we know how you feel. The so-called 20th hijacker is having troubles with his Internet connection, according to legal documents unsealed yesterday. The admitted Al Qaeda member, in a February 24 motion sent to Judge Leonie Brinkema, claims that he has been waiting more than six months for the establishment of a net connection to a secured site containing discovery material provided to Moussaoui's legal counsel by federal prosecutors. Along with an attack on Frank Dunham, one of his lawyers, Moussaoui wrote, "6 months to get an E connection that must make Americans proud on how vicious they can be to cheat their way out." But even if Moussaoui does get wired, he's pessimistic that his surfing will be smooth: "Nobody should be in no doubt that 'technical' problem will make the site CRASH after a very short time."
