Tobacco heiress Doris Duke left behind a $1.5 billion estate when she died in 1993. Of that amount, the reclusive Duke bequeathed a $100,000 trust fund to the dog lucky enough to survive her. That's right: 100 grand to her mutt Minni. Not surprisingly, the executor of the Duke estate went to court to can the canine trust, a move Minni's new owner opposed.
