Christmas Tree Attacker Busted For Vase Assault
Woman, 20, locked up again for battering beau
JANUARY 5--Days after allegedly beating her boyfriend with a Christmas tree, a Florida Woman hit the same victim in the face with a glass vase on New Year’s Day, cops report.
Miracle Rivera, 20, was arrested yesterday and charged with battering the victim inside the Largo residence the couple shares.
The January 1 attack, cops say, occurred during an argument between Rivera (seen at right) and her 24-year-old boyfriend. The “glass flower vase” strike left the man with “visible injuries to his face,” according to a criminal complaint.
Rivera was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, a felony, for the 6:45 AM vase incident. She was also hit with a misdemeanor domestic battery count for allegedly scratching the victim on the face and abdomen earlier that morning.
Rivera (seen at right) is locked up in the county jail without bond, and is scheduled this afternoon for an initial court appearance.
Following her December 24 bust for the tree attack, Rivera was freed from jail on Christmas Day on her own recognizance. As part of her release terms, Rivera was ordered by a judge to have “no illegal contact” with the victim (whom she has lived with for the past two years).
Rivera was charged with domestic battery for the 3:40 AM tree battery, which reportedly left her boyfriend with “numerous minor scratches over much of his upper body and arms.”
As part of the jail intake process, corrections officers inventoried Rivera’s collection of tattoos, one of which reads, “Think Positive.” (1 page)
